FROM THE PI CHI PRESIDENT

I am delighted to welcome you to the official website for the Pi Chi Chapter of Delta Zeta Sorority! I'm Lauren Christman, President of the Pi Chi Chapter at Western Kentucky University. On behalf of the members of the Pi Chi Chapter, I would like to thank you for expressing interest in our chapter!

My favorite line of the Delta Zeta creed is “To those whom my life may touch in slight measure, may I give graciously of what is mine.” Delta Zeta has allowed me to give graciously to WKU, to the Bowling Green community, to those who are deaf and hard of hearing, and to my sisters. My sisters are some of the most gracious, passionate, dedicated, kind, incredible women I have ever met. My sisters have worked tirelessly to build our chapter from the moment of its founding.

Since our chapter’s founding at WKU in 2015, we have surpassed all of our initial goals and expectations. We have become active members of the Greek community, contributed thousands of community service hours, held successful philanthropic events, formed connections with members of the WKU and local communities, and so much more! At our Greek community’s most recent convocation in April, our chapter was recognized for having an outstanding New Member program, for our involvement in the WKU Greek community, for the leadership and involvement of our sisters on WKU’s campus, and for receiving first place in two Greek Week events, CANstruct and Greek Feud. I am so proud of how my sisters have shaped our chapter, and I am so excited to see where we are headed!

Delta Zeta is more than just a collegiate sisterhood. We value our undergraduate education and strive to be lifelong learners. We are global citizens who aspire to change the world through our philanthropic efforts with the Starkey Hearing Foundation. We give graciously of our time, talents, and treasures. We strive to do more, be more, and care more in all aspects of life. As sisters in Delta Zeta, we empower each other to lead and serve during our collegiate years and beyond graduation. Delta Zeta is truly more than four!

Thanks so much for reading this small tidbit about Delta Zeta and Pi Chi! If you have any questions at all, you are more than welcome to contact us at wkudeltazeta@gmail.com. I wish you all the best in your endeavors!
